A few things to note when buying a wooden boat... We strongly encourage you to view the boat you are considering for purchase, whether buying from Macatawa Bay Boat Works or anyone else. We do not recommend purchasing a boat "sight unseen". While we make every effort to represent the boat accurately and honestly, it is best to see the boat yourself or if that is not possible, have it surveyed by an independent professional boat surveyor with wooden boat experience. Macatawa Bay Boat Works tries to illustrate the condition of boats with multiple photographs but photos are no replacement for seeing the boat in person. Please come visit us and tour our restoration shop and brokerage inventory. Most of the boats we broker are stored at our warehouse. The town of Saugatuck and surrounding Michigan are beautiful with fine dining, art galleries, bed and breakfast/hotel accommodations, shopping and scenic Lake Michigan.
