Macatawa Bay Boat Works Premium Restoration

rare 1968 Chris Craft Grand Prix

This very rare Chris Craft Grand Prix 19' boat is one of only 35 produced.  It has come to us for a cosmetic restoration.  We will also restore the original windshield which has a broken top header.

After removing the hardware and sanding the boat, Nate and James apply the first coat of new varnish.

Below we see the final varnish complete, the deck stripes repainted, we have fabricated a new stainless steel windshield header and rebuilt the windshield with new gasket material, repaired aluminum ends, better and stronger than new from the Chris Craft factory! And looks good too!
