| New Project - Updated February 1, 2010 |
| 1957 Century Coronado Hard Top |
| A boat that received a new MBBW "No Soak / No Leak" 3M-5200 bottom last year and came back to us for a hard top. This particular boat did not have a hard top on it from the factory, but it was an option and the owner of the boat found another Coronado with a hardtop that he and Macatawa Bay Boat Works were able to restore and put on the boat. |
| The "hard" top consists of a brass tubular frame that is covered in padding and fabric. The forward section is translucent white Plexiglas that slides forward and aft to make it easier to get in and out of the boat. |

| It was a challenging project, sort of like doing a jig saw puzzle with out the picture on the box! |
| We had to make some parts from scratch with help from A&A Marine. |
| A&A also provided the upholstery kit for the headliner, mid layer and exterior vinyl which we installed in house. The tack strips needed to be replaced so that we would have somewhere to staple the upholstery to the copper tube frame. |
| The finished top looks cool on the boat! We just need to install some chrome trim on the hull to complete. |
