| 1947 Ford Sportsman Convertible "woodie" motorcar |
| This rare Ford Sportsman came to MBBW to have the wood varnish upgraded. It was purchased new by the current owner's father in 1947. All of the wood on this car is original from the factory and has not been replaced. We will repair some delaminating on the trunk lid and remove the crazing in the varnish from UV sun exposure. |

| Repairs were made to the delamination in the plywood of the trunk lid using hypodermic needles to inject epoxy in between the layers and weight and clamp them back into fair. The entire wood area of the car was sanded down and varnished 3 times to achieve a gloss in the finish again. |
