What a great day for a water test! March 11, 2005 - Heavy spring lake effect snow on Lake Macatawa |

It started out fairly calm and clear although cold for MBBW employees Kirk Wingard, Jesse Hamric and Mike Teusink when the began the water test of the 1954 21' Chris Craft Capri after its recent restoration. The weather did not cooperate but made for an interesting photo opportunity.
As the test continued, the snow and wind picked up and visibility decreased.

The snow-covered ramp made launching and retrieval of the boat difficult, in fact it required two trucks in four wheel drive and a tow strap to successfully pull the boat out. Once safe
