1948 Chris Craft Racing Runabout 19' 'Red and White' with Chrysler MBL 6 cylinder engine

A fully restored version of a wonderful Chris Craft design.  The restoration is well documented with photographs and receipts, the owner states that this boat was extensively restored from the basic structure on up by Alexandria Boatworks in the mid 1990's and put together with a new soaker style bottom for authenticity and smooth ride, hullsides were reattached with adhesive and the decks are done in fiberglass cloth and resin --a modern improvement over the original painted canvas (see photos below)  All chrome restored, new upholstery, restored/New Old Stock Chris Craft gauges and steering wheel.  The engine is a Chris Craft MCL for added performance (175 HP) and has been completely rebuilt by CD's Engine Restoration of Hudsonville, Michigan at a cost of over $7,000 including restored block, new pistons and manifold.  The engine starts and runs flawlessly.

A refreshing of the paint was done by Alexandria Boatworks in 2015 at a cost of over $10,500.  The boat has been used minimally since the refresh and been put in the water each summer to keep the boat exercised.   Includes a Karavan galvanized trailer and two covers.
